Adam Smith, DDS, is a general and family dentist and the owner of Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, which has four locations in San Antonio and another in Helotes, Texas. 

Dr. Smith graduated from San Diego State University in 1998 with a major in psychology and a minor in political science. He then enlisted in the US Army and served as a special operations soldier with the elite US Army Rangers stationed in Ft. Lewis, Washington. After the military, he attended The prestigious University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. From San Francisco, Dr. Smith moved to Northern California and practiced in private practice for two years, where he learned advanced dental procedures, including implants, endodontics, and wisdom tooth extractions. 

In late 2011, Dr. Smith and his family relocated to deep south Texas, where he practiced dentistry for six years in the Rio Grande Valley, learning to work with children while raising his own three kids with his beautiful wife, Melissa. Eager to begin the next chapter of their lives, Dr. Smith purchased Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces in late 2017 and moved his family to San Antonio, where they can finally plant roots and have a wonderful city to call home. Dr. Smith brings with him his commitment to excellence, never-quit attitude, and years of training and experience to provide our patients with an unrivaled dental experience and quality dental care in a relaxed environment.

Lauren Spathias, DMD, is a general and pediatric dentist at Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, providing complete oral health care to people of all ages in San Antonio and Helotes, Texas. 

Dr. Spathias studied at Auburn University in Alabama, earning her Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences. After graduation, she enrolled at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and obtained her dental degree.

Before joining the Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces team, Dr. Spathias served at several pediatric dental offices in Kennewick, Washington. These experiences taught her how to support the oral health of children and teens through preventive care and patient education.

As a general and pediatric dentist, Dr. Spathias diagnoses and treats most oral health conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and oral abscesses. She also provides orthodontics to tweens, teens, and adults with metal braces and Invisalign® clear aligners.

Dr. Spathias loves getting to know her patients. She treats everyone like family and makes time to understand their symptoms and goals. Dr. Spathias takes a conservative and noninvasive treatment approach whenever possible. Her commitment to holistic and integrative care ensures healthy and beautiful smiles.

Zeth Jurich, DMD, is a general dentist, endodontist, and orthodontist at Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, providing complete oral health care to people of all ages at offices in San Antonio and Helotes, Texas.

Dr. Jurich studied at Brigham Young University, earning his undergraduate degree in human biology. Then, he enrolled at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. 

Before entering private practice, Dr. Jurich completed a student dentist internship. He received extensive training in all aspects of oral health care, including orthodontics, endodontics, and dental implant placement and restoration. 

At Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, Dr. Jurich diagnoses and treats various oral health issues and specializes in oral surgery, orthodontics, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Jurich is friendly and compassionate and loves getting to know his patients.

Sunny Chaturvedi, DDS, is an experienced general and family dentist at Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, providing complete oral health care to people of all ages at offices in San Antonio and Helotes, Texas.

Dr. Chaturvedi began his professional pursuits at Texas A&M in College Station, earning his undergraduate degree in finance. 

Afterward, he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and enrolled at the University of Texas at Dallas, obtaining a certificate in biomedical sciences. Dr. Chaturvedi then enrolled at the University of Oklahoma (UO) Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and earned his dentistry degree.

While at UO, Dr. Chaturvedi received training in preventive, general, and restorative dentistry, as well as oral surgery. 

At Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, Dr. Chaturvedi cares for people of all ages. His friendly and compassionate demeanor alleviates dental anxiety and helps patients relax. Dr. Chaturvedi takes a holistic and integrative treatment approach. He uses a mix of patient education and healthy lifestyle changes to prevent cavities, gum disease, and other oral conditions.

Dr. Chaturvedi is active in the community and enjoys using his dental skills to support people in need. He volunteers with several organizations, including Good Shepherd Ministries, providing children and teens with free teeth cleanings and restorative dentistry services.

Sandra Nairooz, DDS, MSD, is an experienced dentist and board-certified orthodontist at Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, providing high-quality oral health care to people of all ages at offices in San Antonio and Helotes, Texas.

Dr. Nairooz brings more than 10 years of experience to the practice. She was born and raised in Egypt and studied at Ain Shams University in Cairo. There, Dr. Nairooz earned her undergraduate degree in dental surgery. After graduation, she remained at Ain Shams and completed a general dentistry residency.

In 2010, Dr. Nairooz moved to America and enrolled at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in New York. She completed four years of intensive training, earning her dental degree. 

Before entering private practice, Dr. Nairooz completed an orthodontic internship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a two-year postgraduate orthodontic McLaughlin Program in San Diego, California.

Dr. Nairooz is trained in all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in orthodontics. She regularly prescribes braces and Invisalign® treatment to her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Nairooz is active in several professional organizations. She’s a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society.

Dr. Nairooz is also active in the community and regularly volunteers, using her dental knowledge to support children needing oral health care. She welcomes anyone needing a dentist to Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces today.

Tian Meng, DDS, PhD, is a fellowship-trained general and family dentist at Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, providing comprehensive oral health care to individuals and families at offices in San Antonio, Texas, and Helotes, Texas.

Dr. Meng was born and raised in China. He earned his dental degree and PhD from the West China School of Stomatology at Sichuan University in Chengdu, China. 

After graduation, Dr. Meng moved to the United States and completed a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Medical School in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed a visiting scholar program at Stanford University in Stanford, California, and a postdoctoral research program at the Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas.

Before joining the Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces team, Dr. Meng earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with a distinction in dental education from the University of Texas (UT) Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.

At Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, Dr. Meng diagnoses and treats various oral conditions and specializes in dental implants and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Meng’s extensive surgical knowledge and expertise allow him to manage a wide range of issues, including missing teeth, impacted teeth, and oral cancer.
